The Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering positive customer experience, and for a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (i.e. housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Specify the output required from the job. Identify not more than 7 Key Accountabilities & their performance indicators. NB-Focus on outcomes not tasks.
JOB CONTEXT: DEFINE ORGANIZATIONAL POLICY AND OTHER FACTORS THAT HAVE A CRITICAL IMPACT ON THE JOB
The Sales Associate should have a friendly and engaging personality and be comfortable with working with members of the public. They should be confident, helpful and polite and be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and be required to life stock. They should have a comprehensive understanding of the areas of sales they are working in: i.e. retail, fast moving stock, consumer good, fashion, etc. Most importantly, they should be able to work as part of a sales team.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: High School Degree
Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of retail sales experience
Job-Specific Skills: Good verbal communication skills, some heavy lifting, Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours,
Behavioral Competencies: An eye for fashion trends & Friendly
